The Shaftesbury theatre is a large West End venue seating 1390 people over three levels: the stalls, royal circle and grand circle. The Shaftesbury is widely regarded as one of the most opulent and ornate theatres in London, with the auditorium decorated in rich golds and reds. Located on Shaftesbury Avenue itself, the venue is just around the corner from the Dominion theatre and easily accessed via all forms of public transport.

Irreverent and very funny
Great show. I loved the way the puppets could say far more outrageous things than people can. I'd be cautious about attending with anyone who could be easily offended, but I'd definitely recommend it if you're not easily offended.

A fantastic evening of dark comedy
Anyone who hasn’t seen Avenue Q must enter the theatre with an open mind but will enjoy one of the most surreal night of entertainmen. Exceptionally funny, brilliantly performed, with great adult humour. Deep inside that humour and some truths. Brilliant entertainment
