The Shaftesbury theatre is a large West End venue seating 1390 people over three levels: the stalls, royal circle and grand circle. The Shaftesbury is widely regarded as one of the most opulent and ornate theatres in London, with the auditorium decorated in rich golds and reds. Located on Shaftesbury Avenue itself, the venue is just around the corner from the Dominion theatre and easily accessed via all forms of public transport.

Best I’ve seen in years… I actually saw JFOD twice and on both occasions I came with several friends. I wish it wasn’t ending as I would LOVE to see it again! All my friends loved it too. We were literally on the edge of our seats and throughout constantly glancing at each other with joy of the performances, memories, music. I honestly have not LOVED anything as much in years.. I’m a huge musical fan and plays too. I’ve seen many of my favourites numerous times whenever opportunity JC Superstar, Les Mis… I sooooo wish that JFOD could remain / come back…
With the 40th anniversary coming up do you think this might happen?

If you like music .....this is a must see.!!! Absolutely brilliant show. Didn't know what to expect, but the imaginative use of the songs was fabulous and the quality of the vocals and harmonies was superb. Great humour, great story of the Band Aid and the Live Aid story. Fantastic night out!!!!

A must see show. I remember everything about Live Aid and this just brought everything home plus it reminded me that a lot of work (and lies) went into making this a spectacular event. Also it highlighted all the issues to ensure that the aid reached the staving millions. It is a very moving production but f****** brilliant also.
