Nostalgic Absolutely loved this show! I’ve seen it twice and want to go again. Nostalgic as its music from my era - great acting singing and dancing! Probably wouldn’t take under 14’s as language isn’t appropriate but cannot fault anything about this show. Loved it!

Took me back to 80s I am from Sydney Australia and seen many musicals over many years. But never have I felt that the singing was always great. Just for one day cast were incredible singers. The band fantastic. If I wasn't restricted to my seat I would have been dancing. Spectacular...

Fantastic! I just went to see this show as a fun evening, but it was so much more!
Absolutely excellent.
I think it is probably the best West End show I have seen.
Funny and moving.
Exceptional voices and music throughout.
Frequent swearing, in keeping with the character, but maybe not suitable for younger children

Nostalgic Weakish storyline. Unfair portrayal of what this country did at that time. Getting fed up with negative, apologetic slant on events that were good. Show didnt feel celebratory.
Some fabulous singers. Some poor. Unsure of who was portraying who sometimes.

Toe Tapping I wasn't too sure what to expect, but came away with a smile. This show captured you from the beginning with a very talented cast who were amazing from their accents, dancing and outstanding singing skills. The story had some hilarious parts in it with the Margaret Thatcher tiggling us all with her acting and humour. If you were a Band Aid fan you will enjoy this show, if you were a 80's music person, you will sing along (not too loudly) and tap your feet.

Superb production Excellent night out.True story which opens your eyes to know the amount of work involved to achieve so much for those in desperate need. Great cast of talented performers . Fantastic view from the stalls d12-15.

Amazing cast, great vocals. Whether you were around at the time of Live Aid or not, if you want to see a show with a great storyline, fantastic singing and musicians then Just for One Day is for you. We loved it!

Great Music Memory The Show brought back great memories from the 80's, a brilliant decade for wonderful Bands and their music. Good dancing as well made it a really enjoyable entertainment. Good seats and view too. Everything was good and highly recommended.

Surprised and loved it! Didn’t read any reviews so did know the storyline or what to expect. We just saw the long list of song titles. The storyline, music, singing and set were all excellent.

Absolutely loved this show We all absolutely loved this show! From the start it brought back so many memories of this era. The music and singers were all amazing! Lived the comedy side of Bob & Maggie Thatcher. Also welled up a few times as so many emotions. We loved so much we will see again 10/10 standing ovation from everyone there! Says it all 👏👏👏

popping! Just for one day is a uplifting musical which teaches the next generation what it was like. I brought my son and he had been cynical about live aid but it taught him it mattered, people really tried to make a difference and we did!

Simply amazing The live aid concert is one of those events you remember exactly how you felt, where you have been and with whom. So the show got at us in a very unique and emotional way from beginning to end. Absolutely recommended!

A most pleasant surprise! I booked this for a birthday present for my partner, not feeling that sure if either of us would really enjoy it. Well …. We were both overwhelmed by it!! Really unsure how it was going to go at the beginning…. Turned out to be one of the best we have both seen in a while ( and we have seen a lot of West End shows!)…. Excellent casting songs storyline and choreography….!! Would highly recommend for anyone who like me might be a bit unsure…..Exceptional…..!!!!

What a show For everyone who has been watching on tv in 1985 and everyone else too! What a show! Great energy, good story and so much similarities with the news today. Go see this if you love music, especially from the 80-s.

80s History Just be mindful that there are ample “f bombs” - if you don’t like that sort of language it might not be the show for you. Fantastic trip in time reminding us of when we were courting!

Brilliantly nostalgic Such a great production and so well executed. Great storyline and the characters were brilliant, especially Margaret Thatcher. Be prepared for lots of swearing though! The opportunity to take photos is very slim, no encore, which was disappointing. Overall, definitely worth a watch.

Emotional Superb show, I was 19 when Live Aid was on and I don’t think I fully comprehended the whole impact of the situation at the time but this show took me back and I found it very emotional revisiting those awful moments and a time where we all came together.

Ssssssinging about mmmmy ggggeneration I lived through these times, listened to all the music ( in its original format), watched the live Aid concert on TV, bought a t-shirt and donated $. The play was so relevant to me.
Would it resonate with everyone? I’m not sure.
But anyone can appreciate the great talent that the cast bring to the show.
The musical arrangements were fabulous and allowed different cast members to shine.
Even though the subject was sad and difficult it mostly brought a huge smile to my face.

Absolutely must see! This is the second time we’ve seen it. It’s an absolutely brilliant storey of why ‘Bob’ did live aid. The music is epic & the stage show is absolute class. The cast are phenomenal. I would go for a third & fourth time.

The best musical I’ve seen Chose Just On Day on strength of reviews and they weren’t wrong. It’s the best musical I’ve seen. Every aspect is sublime…the quality of the storytelling and cast is exceptional in every way. A special mention to the stage, lighting and sound crew as well…I heard every lyric and note perfectly. The vocal performances were sublime accompanied with excellent acting…Mrs T provided a memorable performance…all excellent…go see it.

Don't miss it! This is up there with Hamilton as a 'must see'. Not only did it fully embrace the emotion of the time, but gave a clear message that this is not a one-and-done. The way the music was interspersed into the show was fabulous. I came away feeling uplifted, emotional and empowered.

Depth emotional impacting alive personal From the get go your transported with a connection. Back to the 80s. Tears flow minutes in from start to finish. A show that connects with you like no other. The energy of the past unites the present. The story of behind the scenes that at 17 years old back then I didn’t know. A show I will never forget. So clever how the lyrics merge with the story. Best I’ve seen in years… I actually saw JFOD twice and on both occasions I came with several friends. I wish it wasn’t ending as I would LOVE to see it again! All my friends loved it too. We were literally on the edge of our seats and throughout constantly glancing at each other with joy of the performances, memories, music. I honestly have not LOVED anything as much in years.. I’m a huge musical fan and plays too. I’ve seen many of my favourites numerous times whenever opportunity JC Superstar, Les Mis… I sooooo wish that JFOD could remain / come back…
With the 40th anniversary coming up do you think this might happen?

If you like music .....this is a must see.!!! Absolutely brilliant show. Didn't know what to expect, but the imaginative use of the songs was fabulous and the quality of the vocals and harmonies was superb. Great humour, great story of the Band Aid and the Live Aid story. Fantastic night out!!!!

A must see show. I remember everything about Live Aid and this just brought everything home plus it reminded me that a lot of work (and lies) went into making this a spectacular event. Also it highlighted all the issues to ensure that the aid reached the staving millions. It is a very moving production but f****** brilliant also.
