The Notebook - The Musical

The Notebook is a musical based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks, the story that also inspired the well-known film. It follows Allie and Noah, who fall in love as teenagers despite coming from different worlds. Pulled apart by family and circumstance, they keep finding their way back to each other, and the musical traces their relationship across a lifetime. This production is the UK premiere and the first show at the Judi Dench Theatre (currently the Shaftesbury Theatre).

Music and lyrics are by Emmy and Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson and the book is by Bekah Brunstetter (This Is Us). The production is directed by Michael Greif, a five-time Tony Award nominee known for Rent and Dear Evan Hansen, and Schele Williams (The Wiz), with choreography by Katie Spelman. Casting for London is to be announced. A love story told across a lifetime, now set to an original score on the West End stage.
